You may remember that a while ago an OEM partner of ours supplied four 550kva generators as part of a satellite launch facility in northern Australia which would be used by NASA as part of a multi-year launch programme. Well now, after seven months the same OEM partner, PR Power, is providing another generator to help provide power to equipment aiding activities in space.
This time, PR Power supplied a Perkins Powered robust 250kva diesel generator, as part of a project to provide standby power to a satellite dish that would be used by a space services company located in Western Australia. But they didn’t just provide the generators, as they did for the project for NASA, they also provided an external fuel tank and a PowerLink load bank to provide the perfect standby power protection for this site.
