Cold Region Diesel Generator
Tailored for frigid environments (including Belarus), our cold-region generators feature winterized design to withstand low temperatures. Engine preheating systems and cold-resistant components ensure reliable startup and operation in freezing conditions. Built for durability in harsh cold climates, these units serve as critical power solutions for industrial, infrastructure and remote projects, delivering uncompromised performance when temperatures drop.
QSV100CS
Engineered to conquer -25℃ extreme cold, the QSV100CS is a reliable power workhorse for frigid regions—ideal for remote infrastructure, construction sites, emergency backup, and outdoor facilities. Powered by a Cummins 6BT5.9-G2 engine and Powerlink brushless alternator, it solves cold-weather pain points (hard starts, frozen components, unstable operation) with optional jacket water preheater and optimized cold-start system. Boasting 63dB@7m ultra-quiet operation, IP54 dust/water protection, and 280L integrated fuel tank, it delivers stable prime/standby power while minimizing fuel consumption (22.3L/h @100% load). Compliant with CE/ISO8528-5, it’s the trusted solution for uncompromising performance in harsh low-temperature environments.
QSV200CS
Built for extreme cold (-25℃) high-load demands, the QSV200CS is a robust power solution for frigid industrial facilities, data centers, and emergency response. Powered by a Cummins 6CTAA8.3-G2 engine and Powerlink PL3F alternator, it addresses cold-weather pain points (frozen systems, power drops, high downtime) with optional jacket water/oil preheaters and frost-resistant components. Featuring 66dB@7m quiet operation, IP54 protection, and 380L fuel tank for long runtime, it delivers stable 200kVA prime power with low fuel consumption (45.0L/h @100% load). Compliant with CE/ISO8528-5, it’s engineered to thrive in freezing temperatures while ensuring maximum reliability and cost efficiency.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the special requirements for diesel generator sets used in extremely cold regions?
Extremely cold environments (usually referring to ambient temperatures below -20℃) will seriously affect the core systems of diesel generator sets, such as fuel, lubrication, starting and cooling systems.
How is the genset used in coordination with the main power supply?
With manufacturing plants in the UK and China, PowerLink ensures fast delivery and comprehensive local services to guarantee a continuous power supply. Our diesel generators are versatile, serving as emergency or backup power sources for temporary needs, or as a 24/7 main power supply for continuous operation. Our power range spans from 6 KVA to 4000 KVA, catering to a wide range of applications and requirements.
Special Requirements for Lubrication System.
- Using low-temperature special lubricating oil: Multi-grade low-temperature lubricating oils such as 0W-40 and 5W-30 should be selected. They have lower pour points and good low-temperature fluidity, which can quickly reach all lubrication parts at the moment of cold start, avoiding dry friction and wear of the engine.
- Installing engine oil preheaters: Engine oil tank heaters or cylinder block heaters are configured to preheat the oil to above 10℃ before startup, reducing cold-start resistance and minimizing the impact of increased oil viscosity at low temperatures on oil pumping.
Do you provide transfer switches and distribution equipment to allocate power?
