Ports & Shipping

Ship operators grapple with persistent pain points: non-electrified ports force vessels to idle diesel engines to power on-board living facilities and cold chain systems, spawning severe port air pollution and soaring fuel costs. At sea, over-reliance on diesel generators adds to operational expenses and environmental impact, while tightening eco-regulations raise compliance risks.
PowerLink’s hybrid solution addresses both on-shore and off-shore needs. For non-electrified ports, it delivers shore power replacement, enabling vessels to shut down on-board diesel engines entirely—cutting port emissions drastically while sustaining life support and cold chain operations. During voyages, it supplies hybrid power to on-board facilities, slashing diesel generator runtime.
Paired with solar panels, it leverages clean energy to further reduce diesel dependence. For operators prioritizing sustainability, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance, PowerLink transforms marine power challenges into a competitive edge, paving the way for greener shipping.

Frequently Asked Questions

What energy storage battery products does Powerlink have?

PowerLink currently has two main types of energy storage products: hybrid energy systems and microgrid systems. Among them, hybrid energy systems include PES, PHE, BES, ABS and other series of products; The microgrid system has three series of products: RHE, CHE, and IHE,

Hybrid energy systems are mainly aimed at off grid scenarios, providing complementary power supply through multiple energy sources such as energy storage batteries, photovoltaics, and diesel generators to meet customers’ demand for reliable electricity.

Microgrid system is a battery energy storage system suitable for both parallel and off grid application scenarios. It has the characteristics of high integration, ultra-high energy density, and flexible configuration, and can provide users with independent power stations or efficient energy products that are energy-saving and environmentally friendly.

What are the characteristics of PES series energy storage products and which scenarios are they mainly used for?

The PES series hybrid unit is a mobile hybrid system and energy-saving system product designed for off grid applications such as leasing, construction, ports, mining, events, emergencies, and ship power supply. It supports solar power input and diesel generator input, and can be used in combination with batteries or independently. It can provide users with independent power supply or efficient energy products that are energy-saving and environmentally friendly.

  • The overall protection level of the product is IP54, suitable for harsh usage environments;
  • Series product power output range: 30-500kWe;
  • EMS intelligent management system, real-time detection and scheduling of BMS system, PCS system, etc., and can be operated through local HMI or remote APP&Web;
  • The BMS system adopts a three-level management architecture of battery stack, battery cluster, and battery pack, with a total capacity of 62-576kWh and supports 1C charging/discharging.

What are the characteristics of PHE series energy storage products and which scenarios are they mainly used for?

PHE is a mobile hybrid energy system product that is powered by batteries, diesel generators, photovoltaics, and other sources.

  • Power output range: 125-500kWe;
  • The battery system uses liquid-cooled battery packs with a total capacity of 237-1040kWh.
  • EMS intelligent management system, which can be operated through local HMI or remote APP&Web;
  • The whole machine is suitable for environmental temperatures ranging from -20 to 50 ℃.

The PHE series products can be widely used in off-grid application scenarios such as leasing, construction, ports, mining, sports events, emergency response, and ship power supply.

What are the characteristics of BES series energy storage products and which scenarios are they mainly used for?

The BES series energy storage products belong to hybrid energy systems, and their main characteristics are:

  • Configure diesel generators, solar panels, and multiple input interfaces such as photovoltaic and mains power to meet the energy consumption needs of users at different levels of cost.
  • Rated power output of 20-80 kWh, battery capacity of 30.7-101.4 kWh, diesel power generation of 24-80 kWh, internal integrated photovoltaic power generation of 2.5-3.6 kWp, external input of 36-77.8 kWp photovoltaic power generation.
  • EMS intelligent management system, real-time detection and scheduling of BMS system, PCS system, etc., and can be operated through local HMI or remote APP&Web.
