PowerLink OEM Partner, PR Power, has been awarded the contract to supply 4 x 500kVA diesel generators to the new satellite launching facility is currently being built in the Northern Territory.
Equatorial Launch Australia (ELA) is leading Australia’s participation in the International Space Industry working closely with many various Space Agencies including NASA.
The Problem
Due to the remote location of the launch facility, ELA needed a supplier that could design and support a complex prime power solution that included a complete synchronised load dependent system, fuel system and a main distribution control centre.
The Solution
PR Power supplied ELA with 4 x 500kVA diesel generators manufactured by PowerLink. which will be synchronised to provide the total power output required for the launch facility.
PR Power will also supply two smaller off-line PowerLink built generators that will power the fully automatic power distribution main switchboard and automatic fuel system.
